Kevlar49 / Aramid Cloths Kevlar 49 is a structural grade aramid cloth used for composite reinforcement. This cloth requires saturation with epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester resins which will then create a rigid laminate.
Please Note: Our Kevlar cloths are designed for composite reinforcement with either epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester resins. We do not carry ballastic grade Kevlar cloths which are referenced as Kevlar 29. We also do not handle Kevlar for clothing or body armor. For further information regarding Kevlar fabrics, including obtaining ballastic or felt style Kevlar please visit the Dupont website at www.kevlar.com.
