Duratec Gray Surfacing Primer Duratec primer is a high quality polyester suraface primer that offers outstading filling and leveling properties. Excellent adhesion is formed on fiberglass, metal, wood, pressboard, brick, concrete, and various foams. Duratec primer is designed for rapid build-up. The easily sanded surface will polish to a high gloss, if required to create a plug or mold coating.

Duratec Clear is a special blend of polyester polymers that produce excellent clarity, color and light stability, chemical resistance and a non-wax, tack free high gloss finish when added to a gelcoat at a 1:1 ratio for repairs and to upgrade tooling gelcoats.

Clear Polyester Topcoat Duratec Sunshield is a Clear ,UV Protected Topcoat for Coating Epoxy, Vinyl Ester, and Polyester Resins. Sunshield can be applied on top of existing epoxy, vinylester, and polyester resins in post finishing. (See application guide below for preparing epoxy for post-finishing). Sunshield can also be applied In-Mold prior to applying your resin and reinforcements. Apply vinyl ester and polyester resins while Sunshield is still tacky in the mold. For epoxy, the Sunshield must be allowed to cure tack-free. (See application guide below) For best results, Sunshield should be applied by spray application with an HVLP style spray gun. Brush or Roll application should only be attempted when coating wood. For In-Mold application, we recommend only wax style mold releases. Semi-Permanent release agents are not recommended.
